Silvertip Aviation was founded in 1981 by Dave Mair. For years, Silvertip focused on scenic flights and telemetry. Aside from offering scenic tours, Dave tracked wolves, wolverines, bears, cougars, caribou, bats, and fish all over the province for BC Parks. Originally used in Vietnam for reconnaissance missions, Silvertip operated with 2 twin-engine Cessna 337s.
